Wolves v Manchester United – FA Cup Betting Guide: March 16th 2019

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Manchester United 19:55

The final FA Cup Quarter Final on Saturday sees high-flying Manchester United travel to Wolves.

The sides met earlier this season – but at Old Trafford – and with Wolves getting a 1-1 draw there they will have more than some hope here of getting something from this.

If we look at the outright betting, before this weekend’s games, Wolves are on offer at 11.00 to lift the cup, while Manchester United can be backed at 4.50 (second favourites behind Man City at 1.80).

The 90mins match betting here sees Wolves on offer at 3.30, the Draw 3.60 and United at 2.05, while the ‘to qualify’ betting has Wolvers at 2.20 and United at 1.61.

In total the two sides have met 8 times in the FA Cup, with United winning four, two draws and two wins for Wolves – the most recent of those clashes came in 2006, and that ended Wolves 0-3 Man Utd.

This fixture does tend to produce goals though – United have scored in ALL of their last 10 vs Wolves, while both teams have scored and over 2.5 goals has paid out in 5 of the last 6.

With this in mind, over 2.5 goals at 2.00 looks a decent option, but we prefer to stick with both teams to score at 1.75 With home advantage we expect Wolves to have plenty of support, while with United strong fire-power then it will be a shock if they are not on the scoresheet at least once too.
