Manchester City v Manchester United 16:30
We end week twelve with one of the Premier League highlights as bitter rivals Manchester City take on Manchester United in what is always a ‘must-see’ encounter.
City are the title favourites but after a mixed start United boss Jose Mourhino has turned things around with the Red Devils, so we should be in for a fascinating clash.
Last year we saw United win this fixture 2-3 so those wanting to take the 1.33 on a City win might want to think twice, with the draw 5.00 and United on offer at a big-looking 9.00.
In fact, Man Utd are unbeaten in the last three repeat fixtures so the 3.40 on offer in the ‘Double Chance’ market is certainly an option to think about.
Yes, last season we had a 2-3 humdinger, but in general these clashes are tight and cagey affairs – 3 of the last 4 repeat fixtures went Under 2.5 goals, while 4 of the last 7 clash in general went Under 3 goals. Back Under 2.5 goals at 2.50.
Both teams DIDN’T score in 6 of the last 10 clashes so if you fancy this again, you’ll be rewarded at 2.00, while Paul Pogba might be a man to have in your sights as the United midfielder scored a brace in this fixture last season.
All-in-all there is plenty to look forward too, but despite City being in rampant form it’s clear that United have also turned things around a bit. They will we up for the game and with their good recent record over City then the 3.40 on offer on either a draw or United win in the ‘Double Chance’ market looks decent value to us.
BEST BET: MAN UTD/DRAW ‘DOUBLE CHANCE’ @3.40
