Liverpool v Brighton & Hove Albion 17:30

Liverpool have looked impressive in their opening two league games this season and with a deeper squad are certainly challengers to Man City in the outright market. The Reds are as low as 4.00 to go all the way and land their first ever Premier League title, with City still the clear favourites at 1.53.

The Merseysiders face Brighton next at Anfield in game they will be fully expected to win. The betting reflects that too with Liverpool on offer as just 1.16, the Draw 7.00 and Brighton has big as 15.00.

However, the Seagulls head here with confidence sky-high too after disposing of Manchester United 3-2 at home last weekend so certainly won’t fear Liverpool – for a side like Brighton these games against the big sides are ones with bonus points up for grabs.

Having said that, Liverpool thrashed Brighton 4-0 in this fixture last season and having also scored six and conceded none from their opening two games then it’s not going to be an easy task for the visitors.

The Reds also took 6 points off Brighton last season and in the process netted 9 times. In fact, Klopp’s men have scored 15 goals in their last three meetings with Brighton and scored at least two in ALL of their last 7 against them.

The last three head-to-heads went OVER 3.5 GOALS, while the last 7 all went over 2.5 GOALS to suggest we’ll see plenty of goals here. Over 2.5 Goals is on offer at 1.35, with Over 3.5 Goals 2.00.

It goes without saying Liverpool’s Mo Salah and Mane will be popular in the scoring markets but Salah is only 3.00 (1st) and 1.36 (anytime), while Mane is 5.50 (1st) and 2.00 (anytime) – of the two the 2.00 on Mane, who has scored three goals already this season certainly looks the better value and is how we are going to play this game.

It’s hard not seeing a Liverpool win and we also expect plenty of goals. Yes, Brighton will be buzzing after their win over United last week but they also conceded two goals and, as mentioned, have let in 15 in their last three against the Reds.
