Everton v Crystal Palace 16:00

This Sunday we’ve got just one Premier League game as Crystal Palace make the trip up to Merseyside to face Everton.

At the start of week nine, Everton sit in 11th place with 12 points, while Palace are 14th with 7 points.

The match betting suggests a win for the home side with Everton at 1.80, the Draw 3.50 and Palace on offer at 4.50. It’s been goals that Palace have struggled with in recent games and with a lot of teams working out that Zaha is by-far their best player then it’s not usual for teams to double-up on the Ivory Coast international. In a nutshell, if teams eliminate the Zaha threat then they have a much better chance of winning the game.

When the sides played last year, it resulted in a 3-1 win for Everton, while the Toffeemen took 4 points off Palace last term with a draw at Selhurst too. The Merseysiders are also unbeaten in their last seven against the Eagles.

Having said that, the draw as been by-far the most popular outcome when these sides have played with 4 of the last 6 clashes ending all-square.

Other options to note are that 5 of the last 7 head-to-heads were quite low-scoring games that went UNDER 2.5 GOALS – this can be backed at 1.90 – while both teams scored in 3 of the last 4 – this is a similar price at 1.80.

However, with Palace struggling to find the back of the net at the moment then we are going to keep things simple here by siding with a low-scoring Everton win. Under 2.5 goals at 1.90 looks a solid option.

BEST BET: UNDER 2.5 GOALS @1.90
