Chelsea v Manchester City 17:30
A big clash at the top of the Premier League this Saturday in the early evening game as the leaders, Man City, make the trip south to face Chelsea.
Both teams can be expected to be well-fancied for this but the match betting suggests Man City will be taking all three points as they are 1.80, the draw 3.75 and Chelsea as big as 4.20 – which is probably the biggest price they’ll be to win at home all season!
City also won this fixture 0-1 last season and took 6 points off Chelsea last term too so will head here full of confidence. Chelsea fans will, however, cling to the fact they have lost only two of their last 8 home games against City, but it is worth pointing out the Blues have NOT scored in their last three against the Manchester club.
Don’t forget, they also met in the Community Shield and that ended 0-2 to City! Man City have also scored in ALL of their last 11 against the Londoners so if Chelsea are going to win this they might have to score twice.
It’s also been a game with a bit of fire as we’ve seen three RED CARDS in the last 6.
The last three clashes have gone Under 2.5 goals too, so it’s slightly surprising to see that option as the clear second favourite at 2.30, while both teams ‘Didn’t’ score in the last three too – this is on offer at 2.25.
All-in-all, a fascinating clash but with City only winning 0-1 in this fixture last season and the fact all of the last three games have gone Under 2.5 goals then the 2.30 on this happening again is the way we’re going to approach this game.
UNDER 2.5 GOALS @2.30
