Austria v Brazil 15:00

We get another chance to see the current World Cup favourites in action this Sunday, as Brazil, who are around 5.00 in the outright market, take on Austria.

The sides have met only three times before with the last of those coming in 2014 and all three previous meetings resulting in wins for Brazil.

The FIFA World Rankings here massively favour Brazil at 2, with Austria ranked 26, while the Austrians have scored just 1 goal in their last three vs Brazil.

The match betting also reflects this with Brazil at 1.50, the Draw 4.00 and Austria on offer at 7.00.

However, with limited head-to-head stats then it might be better to go with current form.

Austria are, in fact, coming here unbeaten from their last 7 games, while 5 of those 7 matches went OVER 2.5 GOALS – 3+ goals in the game can be backed at 1.80.

However, in contrast to this 6 of Brazil’s last 9 games went Under 2.5 Goals so the goals market might be a tricky one to call.

Both teams ‘DIDN’T’ score in 4 of Austria’s last 6 games, plus with Brazil having conceded just one goal in their last 7 games then at 1.83 then one (or both) side to keep a clean sheet in this market certainly catches the eye.

In fact, Brazil like winning ‘to nil’ –  their last three games went that way, while the Samba Men are unbeaten in their last 10 matches.

Neymar, with a staggering 53 goals for his country, tops the scoring markets and is sure to be popular here as always.

With home advantage and a good recent run of form then Austria are certainly no-hopers here but really this should be another comfortable win for Brazil. Snap-up the 1.50 if you like, but we’d prefer to opt for the ‘both teams NOT to score’ market at 1.83.

BEST BET: BOTH TEAMS ‘NOT’ TO SCORE @1.83
