Not so long ago this Manchester United v Arsenal clash was arguably one of the biggest Premier League fixtures of the season and certainly used to have a massive impact on the title race.

However, despite still being a big game, both Manchester United and Arsenal are not quite the forces they were, so it’s a bit of a tricky match to call.

Heading in this game United are on 18 points and Arsenal are on 23 points, but with home advantage it’s the Red Devils that head the match betting at 1.95, with the Draw 3.75 and Arsenal 3.75.

However, last season this return clash saw Arsenal grab a 1-0 away win so there is hope for Gunner’s fans and the Londoners also took 4 points off United last term.

In fact, Man Utd have struggled to score against Arsenal in recent games – they’ve netted just one goal in their last five games when playing the Gunners.

We’ve seen a lot of draws too – three of the last 6 repeat fixtures have ended 1-1, a score you can back at 7.50, with 4 of the last 7 also ending all square.

Both teams DIDN’T score in 4 of the last 5 either, so at 2.10 there looks to be some value here, while the last five clashes ALL went Under 2.5 Goals too – this is on offer at 2.10 too.

However, despite taking 4 points off Man Utd last season in the league, and United finding it hard to score against them recently – it’s still worth noting that the Gunners have won just 5 of their last 20 league games when facing the Red Devils.

Looking at the scoring options – Arsenal’s Aubameyang has netted 4 goals in the last 5 head-to-heads so may be of interest at 6.50 (1st) or 2.62 (anytime). While the usual suspects for United are Ronaldo at 4.33 (1st) or 1.90 (anytime) and Fernandes at 8.50 (1st) or 3.25 (anytime).

Overall, it’s certainly not the clash it used to be in terms of having an impact on the title race – it’s unlikely either United or Arsenal are going to be challenging for top honours this season. But it’s still a clash with plenty at stake and a win for either side will increase their hopes of a top-four finish.

Both sides have plenty of firepower to win the game too, but with ALL of the last 5 meetings going UNDER 2.5 GOALS, then this option at 2.10 is how we are going to play this one.
