Manchester City v Chelsea – Premier League Betting Guide: Sunday 10th Feb 2019

Manchester City v Chelsea 16:00

A real treat for Premier League football fans this Sunday as the current champions Man City take on Chelsea at home and with the Blues winning this season’s earlier fixture 2-0 at Stamford Bridge then the visitors will have some hope of getting something.

City did, however, take this fixture 1-0 earlier this season and at 1.45 the betting suggests the an easy home win, with the draw 4.50 and Chelsea 6.50.

City have actually won 2 of the last 3 head-to-heads 1-0 so this scoreline at 8.50 is worth having on your radar. Recent clashes have been low-scoring affairs though with ALL of the last four going UNDER 2.5 GOALS – a repeat of this can be backed at 2.20.

Or another way to play this would be both teams NOT to score at 1.95 as this has paid out in all of the last four head-to-heads, but it’s worth pointing out that City have scored in 11 of their last 12 when playing Chelsea.

City’s Aguero has been in rude scoring form of late so is sure to be popular for the home side, but it’s worth noting that Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has a good scoring record when playing City – he’s scored 3 in the last three.

Overall, with Chelsea very up-and-down at the moment it’s hard to back them with any confidence, but they will be given confidence by having already beaten the champions this term.

However, with this clash throwing up several low-scoring games of late then the Under 2.5 Goals at 2.20 looks to have some value in it and so this is how we are going to play this one.

BEST BET: UNDER 2.5 GOALS @2.20
