Spurs v Man Utd – Premier League Betting Guide: Sunday 13th Jan 2019

Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United 16:30

A real treat to end the Sunday Premier League action this weekend as title hopefuls – Tottenham – take on a rejuvenated Manchester United at Wembley.

Since taking over at the helm at Manchester Untied – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – has won all his games but, in truth, his side have had an easy run of things playing some average opposition.

This clash against Spurs will be his biggest test so far as he takes on one of the Premier League elite sides for the first time, and also away from home.

The match betting suggests they are up against it too with Spurs the favourites to take all three points here at 2.00, with the draw 3.60 and Man United on offer at 3.50.

The sides have already played this season too and that ended in a 0-3 away win for Spurs, while this repeat fixture last term ended 2-0 to the home side – good news for Spurs fans, but not such good news for the Red Devils.  United have also scored just 1 goal in the last 4 repeat fixtures.

In fact, Spurs head into this game unbeaten in their last six home league games over United – winning three of those.

It is worth pointing out though that 50% of the last 6 repeat fixtures ended all-square.

4 of the last 7 head-to-heads went OVER 2.5 GOALS so this might appeal at 1.66, while both teams DIDN’T score in 8 of the last 9 clashes so it’s interesting this is on offer at a big-looking 2.25.

However, with United looking a team with a new lease of life and the fact Spurs were also in midweek League Cup action then I feel the visitors might just get something here. Yes, they don’t have a great winning record in this fixture in recent years, but they have nicked a point in 3 of the last 6.

Add in that the United players seem to want to play for their new boss – Solskjaer – then the 1.83 on a draw or a United win in the ‘Double Chance’ market – for those that don’t know we’d just need United to avoid defeat here to collect.

UNITED/DRAW ‘Double Chance’ @1.83
