Liverpool v Sevilla
More Champions League action this Wednesday, but we like the look of the Liverpool v Sevilla Group E clash.
Liverpool have already had plenty going on this season and – don’t forget – had to qualify for this competition with a 2-leg match over German side Hoffenheim.
Therefore, the Reds should be well warmed-up now and have also made a decent start to their domestic season.
They meet a Seville side that finished fourth in La Liga last term so also had to win a play-off to qualify for this – but they had the slightly easier task on paper by playing Turkish side Istanbul Buyuk, but they only just managed to get through with a 4-3 aggregate victory.
With home advantage, Liverpool are the clear favourites in the match betting at 1.70, with the draw 3.80 and Seville 4.75, while Liverpool fans will know there is some unfinished business against Seville as the Spanish side beat them 3-1 in the 2016 Europa League Final.
However, Liverpool look a much better side now and manager Jurgen Klopp is slowing piecing things together at Anfield – we expect them to take this, but Seville won’t make life easy and so with both sides have been in decent scoring form this season the 1.61 on offer on BOTH TEAMS SCORING might be the safer option.
Best Bet: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE @ 1.61
